How dare we wrongfully kill, displaying inhumanity,
And then dare to say that God, gave us the authority.
There have been enough crusades, enough so called righteous wars,
So let us put a stop to, these attacks on others’ shores.

Or could it be, internally, civil war is taking lives,
Where just more mindless killing, hatred or ignorance drives.
To fight one’s fellow citizen, is the ultimate disgrace,
But anywhere, anytime, wrongful killing, shouldn’t take place.

Don’t give me those excuses, as I’ve heard them all before,
Let excuses and agendas, never be the cause of war.
Defending one’s own country, or an ally, under attack
Is the only time it’s right, to support, or to fight back.

Has a war thus been declared, on the country you live in,
Has another nation said, we’re on our way, and mean to win?
Has an ally called for help, that’s currently under attack?
If your answer is a no, don’t go down that warring track.

Yes, woe betide the villain, who dares fire the first shot,
The despot or dictator, with war in mind, who seeks to plot.
Yes, woe betide the villain, who initiates a war,
Where innocent men and women, die on a stranger’s shore.

There’s so much mindless killing, and wars that should not be,
Religious or political, that are waged so pointlessly,
It just seems we never learn, and it seems we never will,
Till we all get the message, that no one, should wrongly kill.

Let’s stop this evil cycle, where blood’s spilt so wrongfully,
Be it via wrongful wars, or folk acting murderously.
If there’s no blood on your hands, and only love inside your heart,
You’ve chosen the best pathway, so, don’t from that path depart.
