Spiritual and Inspirational poetry that touch the heart and soul, and provoke the mind.
Christ is dead.
Those words remain, reminding the reader, reminding the rememberer of the modern world.
Alas, to hear his words: “Father, glorify me in your own presence with the glory that I had in your presence before the world existed.” In my mind I hear them as I read.
Takes the breath away, like awaiting the risen Him, recalling death, for he said, It is finished.
Christ will come again. We say, and live, wait, celebrate the literal example of renewal.
Spring.
Oh, horrible death. Reminded of stations of the cross; your suffering, Lord, and giving, transfigures mortals like us.
Grace.
