Spiritual and Inspirational poetry that touch the heart and soul, and provoke the mind.
In velvet dark of night
Sat old November Moon
Silently slipping 'neath a cloud
Hiding from the Loon;
Moon's rippled wrinkled smile
Was reflected in the lake
Its' soft glow spreading light on dark
The Loon's tiny wake;
The tall leggy pines
Scented the chilly air
A tiny mouse in tall grass
Was under Owl's stare;
Fish were jumping, splashing
A deer came to drink
And old Mr. Owl yawned
And gave a s-l-o-w wink;
Flying across the pale Moon
Across its' smiling face
Saying "Goodbye" to Summer
Geese in a Winter's race;
A rich, sweet smell of Earth
How softly is arose
Mingling with the nightly mists
And filling up my nose;
Some don't like the Fall of year
With all its death and strife
But I always remember
In Nature...death nourishes Life....
