This poor guy came to us in really bad shape, with an untreated skin condition that had left him nearly hairless.

Our newest rescue, Freed is starting to get comfortable at LARC. This poor guy came to us in really bad shape, with an untreated skin condition that had left him nearly hairless. He was also severely underweight and malnourished.

Thanks to kind supporters like you, who care so much about the well-being of all animals, we were able to bring Freed into our pack. He is being treated by our veterinary team to get his skin condition under control. We have put him on a special diet and he is already gaining weight.

We have been told that this clever boy is an escape artist, so we have reinforced his temporary enclosure to make sure he doesn't get out. We are working on retrofitting an enclosure for him to live in that will have higher fences and overhangs to prevent him from pulling a Houdini on us!
