My Irreplaceable Companion for 13 Years

It was true. People would stop us so they could have a moment with him.
It's been over a week since I said goodbye to my irreplaceable companion for 13 of his 15 years. Rocco lived every moment with all his heart and soul. He had a zest for life like no other.
He was a rebel, a lover, a party animal, a babe magnet, and a notorious foodie.
As an international traveler (one of our many road trips was BC Canada, his playful and adventurous spirit and his heart of gold touched the lives of so many. Wherever we went, I used to say, we can't go anywhere in this town.
It was true. People would stop us so they could have a moment with him.
I knew this day would come and, as we know, it always comes too soon no matter how long we get with our animal companions.
He was my soulmate and I still can't believe he's gone. I'm heartbroken and miss him so much. His BIG little spirit will live on forever inside me and in all those he touched.
