THURSDAY, April 25th @ 10:30AM SHARP!

If you need help with directions, etc. please give us a call. There will also be some speakers and a video showing at the campus after the demos so please stick around for a couple of hours. We will be discussing the next two days of events and details about the campaign against Huntingdon Life Sciences.
FRIDAY, April 26th @ 10:00AM SHARP
We will be targeting the crucial financial ties to the notorious Huntingdon Life Sciences and this day is sure to be exciting. We will be meeting at Westwood Park in the city of Westwood and will be traveling via chartered bus and caravans to various locations.Westwood Park is located on Veteran Blvd just south of Wilshire Blvd past the Federal Building. There is ample street parking in the neighborhood, just be sure to observe the parking restrictions that may be posted. We will be gathering in the SouthEast parking lot of Westwood Park and piling on the bus for some adventure. If you need directions or help, please don't hesitate to call.
SATURDAY, April 27th @ 10:00AM
The animals tortured in HLS labs don't get the weekend off, so why should those who profit from their deaths? Saturday we will be meeting again at Westwood Park and traveling to the homes of those responsible for the horrors within HLS. The directions and location of Westwood Park is above. Meet there on time and we will be moving the demonstrations elsewhere.
If there are any questions or concerns you may have, please give us a call at
(323) 993-5720. And forward this email far and wide... help get the word out!
(if you are unable to make it to all of the events I would suggest that you try to make it to at least Friday and/ or Saturday)
We will be making more information public as it becomes available so please check back often either over email or telephone.

Location: At the overpass, which crosses between the Veteran's Hospital and the USF Medical Library

From, "The Nature of Wellness", 1999: "Increasing numbers of scientists agree that the only way to deal with our mounting health problems is to abolish the medieval ritual of experimental research on animals and engage in Real Medicine: a medicine based on prevention, clinical research (the observation and treatment of human beings suffering from human diseases) and, above all, logic and common sense."Contact: Gael Murphy

Aetna Insurance Protest
Long Island Animal Defense League along with SHAC-USA will be kicking off the North East activities for World Week, with a protest against Aetna Insurance, who insure the scum who are employed at HLS! Who's gonna work at HLS with no insurance to cover them? NO ONE! Aetna U.S. Healthcare is one of HLS's most important supporters - without the means to provide it's employees with healthcare, HLS will not be able to successfully keep its doors open. Furthermore, rising premiums is something HLS cannot afford as a business already on a path to bankruptcy. It's time to FINISH HLS!
