Rooterville is dedicated to rescuing animals in need and helping sanctuaries that take in rescued animals, particularly pot bellied pigs.  We do not want to limit our efforts only to the pot bellied pigs, but they are our specialty (of course!) and primary focus.

Our goal is to work together within a network of other rescuers to help educate the public and humane organizations to the particular needs of the pot bellied pigs and share our resources to maximize the rescue efforts of all we become affiliated / acquainted with.

Pot bellied pigs are special animals with particular needs that are often misunderstood and certainly under appreciated and overlooked.  We will strive to minimize the suffering of the pot bellied pigs by helping to remove them from situations of danger or abuse, fostering them, spaying and neutering and providing necessary medical attention and transportation to their new homes as funds allow.  Donations are always welcomed and desperately needed!  We are a 501 (c) (3) charitable organization.
