Hogan Adopts Bella
Every so often someone sends us a
story that proves that God has created in every living being a sense of deep
love and compassion, and that we must make a knowing choice to be cruel.
Hogan is a ridgeback dog who has adopted an orphaned fawn, whom the family
named, Bella. The way we have been trained to think, we would assume that
a dog would hunt a deer, but a story like this one also tells us that Isaiah's
prophecy (Isaiah 11:6-9) of the Peaceable Kingdom is possible in the here and
now.

Presented here are just a few of the countless components of God's creation. Just as we cannot have human and animal life without water and plants, neither can we have lasting peace without love and compassion. It is our hope and prayer that this series will motivate people to live and act in a cruelty-free manner; that we would no longer hurt or destroy each other, the animals or our environment.
