Vegan Vixens on Howard Stern

On Thursday, Oct. 21 the guests on the Howard Stern Radio Show (WXRK, 92.3 FM, 6 - 10 a.m. in NYC) were the Vegan Vixens, a group of about five young women appearing to publicize their cookbook.

They were put through a number of 'truth or dares' - if they don't kiss each other, Stern will kill a hamster; if they don't show their boobs, stern will spray a lethal substance on meal worms, etc.  They complied with each 'dare' in order that no beings be killed.

The 'hamster' turned out to be a sock; Howard stated he wouldn't kill an animal; his new bastard sidekick Artie said "I would."  How noble he is.

Robin Quivers, longtime sidekick and frequent advocate for animals and vegetarianism, surprisingly stated "Why are you only offering to kill hamsters and worms?  Why not dogs and cats?"  And, of course, the reason is that Howard Stern knows that mainstream audiences would scream bloody murder over that.

Though the women were razzed as per Stern usuals, when they did a 'cheer' about going vegan, which included lyrics about how vegans were better in bed and more naturally slender, his sidekicks shut up.

The 'cheer' also had lyrics about not wearing fur, eating lobster gives you DDT, and vegan ccoking.

This is a very popular radio show; but since Howard Stern is considered disgusting by many, you may feel there's no point in responding, which is understandable; he has, however, come out against hunting, against grayhound racing, and against dairy.  For those who wish to make comments or complaints, his email address is:
