Audacity of Ringling!

Ringling Bros monsters have placed into several NY area newspapers a large insert that opens to poster size;  One page is entitled "BABIES, BABIES AND MORE BABIES!"

On this page, along with elephant facts is the quote, "To help save this magnificent animal from extinction, the Ringling Bros and Barnum and Bailey Center for Elephant conservation was established to create a superior environment dedicated to the breeding, study and retirement of the Asian elephant."  They provide a website, www.elephantcenter.com .

INCREDIBLY, CIRCLING THE PAGE, ARE PHOTOS OF RINGLING'S ELEPHANTS PLAYING HAPPILY, ALONG WITH THEIR BIRTHDATES - AND THEY HAVE INCLUDED BABY KENNY, BABY BENJAMIN AND BABY RICCARDO!!!

These tragic babies died horribly at the Ringling monsters hands:

Baby Kenny was forced to perform while sick and unsteady on his feet; he died shortly afterward, bleeding from his rectum;

Baby Benjamin drowned backing into a pond while trying to get away from a 'trainer' who was jabbing him with a bullhook;

Most recently, Baby Riccardo died of irreparable injuries when he suffered two broken legs after Ringling tied his back legs to 'teach' him a trick.  (more info at www.circuses.com )  

THESE POOR ANIMALS DIED AS BABIES; OF COURSE THERE IS NO MENTION OF THIS ON RINGLING'S OBSCENE POSTER, WHICH IMPLIES THEY ARE LIVING AND SMILING HAPPILY.

I think one thing we can do is write letters to the editor of ALL newspapers and mention the deceitful thing Ringling has done.
