The NY Times is reporting on one of several cruel 'crow shoots', this on
in upstate Palenville, NY. From the article: "The main reason experienced
crow hunters got into the sport in the first place, Fun. Plain old fashioned
Fun.”
Palenville, NY is part of Greene County; please contact local agencies and
politely complain about Palenville's crow shoot, an unsavory activity that
diminishes our desire to visit this lovely area, buy homes there, etc. What
are they teaching their children? The crows - and all wildlife - have as
much right to live as any other NYS resident, if not more.

Comments can be added; on their site you will find a picture of a child with a rifle and a condemnation of Sen. Avella's anti-killing contest bill - which asks why 'a downstate senator is trying to destroy our hunting rights', as though Avella does not have the right.
