Westchester4Geese began meeting with Congressman Eliot Engel a few months ago to complaint about the USDA/WS, and have been in touch with his office ever since. He previously sent a complaint letter to the USDA; letters have just been sent to the Agriculture Committee and Appropriations Subcommittee on Agriculture on June 24, 2014:

 'As a member of the House Animal Protection Caucus, I believe it is critical that the USDA deem animal welfare a more central priority. While I understand the need to avoid overpopulation, I believe this objective can be met while still preventing the deaths of innocent creatures.'
