Mamaroneck Mayor Norman Rosenblum is continuing his quest to garner support for a deer/coyote slaughter.He previously held meetings with the intent of getting support for killing geese, which he never backed off from - he was outvoted. He was responsible for the mtgs in Rye and the County, and is holding another public meeting:

Rosenblum is a 'guns and animal control' supporter who is mollifying a few residents who object to merely seeing these animals, as a basis for a 'threat to the community' emergency mtg. Rosenblum presides over a rural village on Long Island Sound - and incredibly wants all wildlife to be gone from there. Mamk is highly congested - yet the mayor is willing to risk public injury by bringing in bowhunters; a Notice of Dangerous Condition was previously served on Mamk and Rye - Please remind them of this fact.

PLEASE CONTINUE TO CONTACT THE FOLLOWING OFFICIALS and politely demand that they ONLY use humane alternatives for our wildlife; pls note CE Rob Astorino in particular is running for reelection. Project Coyote has supplied some info, attached below. Feel free to write one email and cc the rest. NOTE: The majority of Mamk trustees are against the mayor's plan; he can however proceed with the county. He is dragging Rye into it and is calling for state-wide culling.
