Please contact the following legislators and politely insist they hold a formal hearing on circus legislation now - either banning bullhooks or wild animals on county property; the same letter can be sent to each member. You don't have to be a Westchester resident to contact them; if you are, indicate that.

SAMPLE LETTER:

Dear Legislator ___________

As a concerned, humane citizen ("...and voting resident constituent of Westchester County") I strongly urge you to vote in support of a bill that would ban traveling animal acts and/or bullhooks, on County property, as has been enacted in many other venues. Westchester is a beautiful county that should be a leader in such enlightened, decent policies. Thank you in advance for your immediate attention in this matter.
