The current tv ad for Yonkers Federation of Teachers features a horse-drawn carriage giving rides.
This issue is being challenged all over the world as well as in NYC, where yet another carriage horse collapsed in the street on November 27 - see short video - https://tinyurl.com/ybggycpg
Carriage rides aren't 'romantic' or 'quaint.' They're needless cruelty that should be banned. Teachers should educate themselves instead of promoting this cruel abuse.
