Dear Animal Advocates,

Below is a letter to Assembly Member Deborah J. Glick. She is the sponsor of the Wildlife Killing Contest bill, A.722 in the Assembly.

The Bill provides that it shall be unlawful for any person to organize, sponsor, conduct, promote, or participate in any contest, competition, tournament or derby where the objective of such contest or competition is to take wildlife.

Please copy / paste the letter and send to her. You're welcome to phone her as well. Please be polite and diplomatic.

Dear Assembly Member Deborah J. Glick:

Thank you again for sponsoring the Wildlife Killing Contest bill A.722 this session.

As you are aware this bill has been sitting in the Environmental Conservation Committee for several years now. This year A.722 received much publicity, both for and against it. This is due to the hard work and effort you and your staff are doing.

There has never been a more opportune time for this bill to become law than the present. This is why we need your help in giving A.722 one last push. Please reach out to Environmental Conservation Committee Chair Steven Englebright and ask that he place the Wildlife Killing Contest bill, A.722 on the agenda of their next committee meeting and to then report it out of committee favorably.

Thank you again for all that you do.

Respectfully,
