There are 14 session days left for the Agriculture Codes Committee to vote the NYS Puppy Mill Bill out of committee so the entire legislature can vote on it; Codes meets once a wkwith just a few add'l mtgstoward end of session on June10. NYS HAS KICKED THIS CAN DOWN THE ROAD LONG ENOUGH!

~~ The bill should not be weakened in any way: It is excellently drafted in line with other venues that have implemented it successfully. Hundreds of pet stores like Petco have worked successfully with local rescues to bring in animals for adoption - pet shops clearly have a ‘working’ model to reference, as required by the proposed bill.
