Dear Friends:

This is another step in passing NYS bills.

PLEASE MAKE THESE CONTACTS ASAP!! ALL NECESSARY INFO BELOW; COMMITTEE BILL DISCUSSION MONDAY - VOTING TUESDAY.

Action Alert from Project Coyote: New York Residents: We Need Your Help AGAIN to Ban Wildlife Killing Contests Statewide!

NOTE from Project Coyote:

Regarding NYS Senate bill S4099  to ban wildlife killing contests:  The bill is progressing quickly! We sent out this action alert on Friday. The Senate Environmental Conservation Committee moved their hearing to today and the bill passed out of committee and onto the floor of the Senate as of this morning.

On the Assembly side, the bill is before the Codes Committee, which will have a hearing tomorrow, and from our intel with groups working on the ground it should pass through easily and likely make it to the floor for a vote next week.

We will keep you updated. Be sure to sign-up for our e-team if you aren't already to stay updated on action alerts. Right now, we are waiting till the bill gets to the floor of the Assembly before we direct folks to contact thier legislators for a final vote.!

Please contact ADOW with any questions.

Thank you.
