Thank you, Daily News, for running the cartoon strip "Mutts."

The recent story lines about animal shelters and farm animal awareness, in addition to being charming and funny, have opened people's eyes to aspects of life not usually discussed in the media.

Though a comic strip, "Mutts" is a reminder to offer respect to all living beings.
