Dogs have shown heroism, too

A K-9 unit police officer apologizes for expressing
grief over his deceased canine partner, "just" a dog, killed during his
service at the World Trade Center disaster.
Do not apologize, Police Officer Chin. Your canine
partner was as important, and as much of a hero, as any other of the fallen
rescuers in this horrific tragedy.
Their stars will shine together like diamonds in
heaven.
