A shelter in Washington State is looking for local fosters and donations of supplies following the recent rescues of more than 180 cats.

Do you live in or around Tacoma, Washington, or do you know someone who does? Between the shelter and existing foster homes, The Humane Society for Tacoma & Pierce County is caring for over 500 cats after the recent rescues of 101 cats from a local home, 60 cats from an abandoned sailboat, and 20 cats found living in a car. The Humane Society is looking for emergency foster homes in Pierce County or within 25 miles of the shelter. According to King5.com, they are also looking for donations of bath towels, hand towels, fleece blankets, paper towels, and newspaper.
