national headquarters in
suburban Washington, DC:
ASSOCIATE CAMPAIGN DIRECTOR (assists Campaign Director
in organizing
the Great American Meat out by contacting local activists and national
groups,
dealing with media, and producing posters and handouts)
ASSOCIATE CONFERENCE DIRECTOR (assists Conference
Director in
organizing a national animal rights conference by contacting national
and local
groups, placing ads, dealing with hotels and food services, responding
to
inquiries, and maintaining a registration database)
ADMINISTRATOR/OFFICE MANAGER (responsible for all office
operations,
including mailings, office facilities and equipment, merchandise and
office
supplies, and financial and membership databases)
PUBLICATIONS/MEDIA COORDINATOR (uses desktop publishing
and
graphics software to design and produce newsletters, brochures, and
other
publications; maintains media data base and sends news releases and
other
mailings to mass media).
RESEARCH DIRECTOR (collects, organizes, and disseminates
information
from print and Internet sources; writes fact sheets and articles;
responds to
information requests)

good
communication skills, and ability to work in a team setting.
