Art and Photo Presentation

In this section are copies of original works of art. All of them are dedicated to helping us live according to unconditional love and compassion, which is the foundation of our peaceful means of bringing true and lasting peace to all of God's creatures, whether they are human beings or other animals.

Twyla Francois Katie turkey
(Artwork - 009) Katie and her sister Sophie escaped their captors during loading for slaughter and hid in a ditch until we found them. For months, they feared our hands but would stare into our faces, searching our eyes to see if it was cruelty or kindness behind them. Both eventually accepted our doting and even gave us hugs in return. Sadly, both Katie and Sophie died young from congestive heart failure. Today's turkey's have been so genetically selected for rapid growth that even breathing becomes difficult.

Recognizing that not everyone will be reached by graphic footage and photos, Twyla's art seeks to raise awareness on the plight of today's farmed animals in a more gentle, but hopefully equally compelling way.
