Art by Twyla FrancoisIn this section are copies of original works of art. All of them are dedicated to helping us live according to unconditional love and compassion, which is the foundation of our peaceful means of bringing true and lasting peace to all of God's creatures, whether they are human beings or other animals.

(Artwork - 017) Tara and her brother Avalo were foals when I found them at a
livestock auction. By-products of the PMU (pregnant mare urine) industry, they
were destined for slaughter. Their mothers' urine - collected with a rubber cone
while confined to a stall for months on end - was used to create the drug
Premarin. Premarin (now called Prempro) is marketed to menopausal women. While
the drug company claims to help women, it prefers to keep the suffering females
behind the product out of the public eye.
There's a happy ending to Tara's story. She now only knows kindness, scritches and treats with her adoptive family!

Recognizing that not everyone will be reached by graphic footage and photos, Twyla's art seeks to raise awareness on the plight of today's farmed animals in a more gentle, but hopefully equally compelling way.
