DxE's investigation of a Costco "cage-free" egg farm found intense cruelty. Bailey was starving to death because she was trapped in the machinery of a "humane" farm.

Packed in By the Thousands
Hens were piled on top of each other in the filthy sheds, where the toxic air burned at their lungs.
Left to Die
The bodies of trampled hens lay rotting all around her.
Saved from the Brink
Trapped inside the farm’s machinery, Bailey was starving to death when she was rescued.
Bailey is safe with her new family. Like all animals, she has a unique personality: she loves to explore and play with her friend Charlotte the dog.
