Brit bosses decided to drop the controversial French delicacy and were said to have confessed their mistake, reports The Mirror.

British singer Leona Lewis has forced organizers of the upcoming 2010 Brit Awards to scrap a geese dish off its menu.

The 24-year-old animal rights activist threatened to boycott the event after learning that foie-gras, the liver of specially fattened geese or ducks, used as a table delicacy, would be served as part of the course.

Brit bosses decided to drop the controversial French delicacy and were said to have confessed their mistake, reports The Mirror.

The ambassador for the World Society for the Protection of Animals is now delighted with the outcome.

Leona said: "I'm delighted the menu has been changed - thank you."
