Michael Kors and Jimmy Choo are the latest brands to join the fur-free movement! Historically adamant about the extensive use of fur in his clothing and accessory lines, designer Michael Kors has been one of the primary targets of LCA’s fur-free campaign.

Finally acknowledging that fur is outdated and unnecessary, Kors announced, “We have the ability to create a luxe aesthetic using non-animal fur. We will showcase these new techniques in our upcoming runway show in February.” Michael Kors joins a growing number of luxury brands and retailers—including Gucci, Armani, Hugo Boss, and Net-a-Porter—that have dropped fur from their clothing and accessory lines.

LCA applauds luxury brands Michael Kors and Jimmy Choo for their decision to go fur-free. This announcement follows LCA's recent protest at Michael Kors where activists urged the company to end its use of fur. This is a hard-fought victory for LCA and animal advocates who have long campaigned for these brands to stop contributing to the senseless killing of foxes and other animals for the sake of fashion. It's clear today that they heard our voices.
