in Petersburg, VA on Aug 24, 2013
A spokesperson for Canterbury Park (Minneapolis) recently announced that the park had canceled plans to hold the Great Bull Run in 2014 due to safety concerns. This was to be a U.S. version of the Pamplona, Spain running of the bulls event.
ARC President Charlotte Cozzetto was interviewed by the Star Tribune about the proposed event and our concerns about the event received even more press when ARC Program Director Dallas Rising's radio interview with Public News Service was picked up by stations in seven states.
