A beautiful glass frog (Cochranella granulosa) I found near the Panama Canal.

I am very pleased to announce the formation of SAVE THE FROGS! Panama, Central America's first official branch of SAVE THE FROGS!

I co-founded SAVE THE FROGS! Panama on October 15th along with 13 very motivated Panamanian undergraduates from University of Panama in Panama City. The 14 of us ratified the Constitution of SAVE THE FROGS! Panama at the conclusion of our inaugural meeting. Panama is one of the world's amphibian biodiversity hotspots, with 218 known amphibian species occurring in a landmass less than 1% of the size of the USA.
