As a birth worker, as a breastfeeding advocate, as an environmentalist, as a woman, and as a mother who deeply cares about mother/child bonding and attachment in all offspring, in addition to my own, to say that dairy is unacceptable is an understatement. Nothing justifies this egregious industry.
I am a Mother Against Dairy because the truth is that the dairy industry is rooted in sexual violation, reproductive exploitation, and the complete destruction of motherhood.

I cannot for a second imagine having had my daughter ripped away from me at
birth after carrying and building a connection with her for almost 10
months, just so that another species could rob my body of breast milk that
is not designed for them. Only then to be forcefully inseminated (raped),
and endure the process all over again, repeated until my body drops dead
from exhaustion, or my declining lactation is deemed unprofitable and I am
sent to slaughter.
Can you even imagine?
Humans do not have any biological or nutritional need for the
mother’s milk of another species. In humans, cow’s milk promotes
inflammation and encourages the generation of mucus. It is literally baby
calf growth fluid. That we have been conditioned to believe it is anything
else shows the power of propaganda and social programming.
Eliminating dairy in addition to meat from my diet has by far been the best
decision I have ever made for my health. Growing up on the standard American
diet, I regularly struggled with extreme seasonal and animal allergies,
recurring sinus infections, eczema, a stuffy nose on a regular basis, and
painful period cramps. After eradicating animal products, I no longer suffer
from any of these ailments or take any pharmaceuticals. My husband is also
vegan, and my thriving daughter is now 17 months and has never consumed
animal products.
