When it comes to the vegan movement, Ed Winters is a truly unrivaled,
once-in-generation voice-a modern-day Peter Singer and the advocate for our
moment. In the vein of his polished, reason-based viral videos, 'This Is
Vegan Propaganda' makes the bulletproof case for the vegan lifestyle. Equal
parts erudite and accessible, it's a must-read for a world living out of
sync with our innate humanity.
― Rich Roll, bestselling author of Finding Ultra
Such is the effectiveness of his advocacy that I knew about Ed Winters (aka
"Earthling Ed") long before reading this book. In plain-spoken language
aimed at persuading and not condemning, Ed outlines the abhorrent practices
of industrial animal agriculture, and what can and must be done to address
it. If you give a damn about this planet, and the fate of its inhabitants
(including us), read this book.
― Jonathan Balcombe, author of Super Fly, and the New York Times
and international bestseller What a Fish Knows
Make sure you read This is Vegan Propaganda, you won't regret it.
― Peter Egan
Ed has used his vast knowledge regarding meat and dairy production to create
a must read book for everyone, vegan and non-vegan alike. His arguments are
compelling and grounded in facts and logic. This is Vegan Propaganda (And
Other Lies the Meat Industry Tells You) presents an indisputable case for
veganism and shows us that there is a far better way of feeding the planet.
An eye-opening book of our time.
― Moby
Everything you wanted to know about veganism but were afraid to ask. Ed
offers a clear insight into the ethical debate around veganism for vegans
and non-vegans alike. He explores why the word 'vegan' inspires strong
emotions and challenges all of us, whatever our dietary choices, to be aware
of the decisions we are making. Ed's approach is to bring logic, philosophy
and understanding to a debate that too often descends into chaos. Essential
reading.
― Matt Haig
