My name is Fr Donatello Iocco, I am a vegan Catholic priest and have been vegan for 9 years. It is my conviction that Jesus, his disciples and early Christian communities practiced and lived a vegan life style or a least a strict vegetarian diet. It is common sense that a true Spiritual master who teaches non-violence, would include not only human beings but all living beings especially our dear animal brothers and sisters. It is my sincere prayer that many will come to see that the killing and consumption of animals and their by products is against the Commandment of Love.
I know that it can be a difficult journey when a majority of Christians haven't adopted a vegan lifestyle. My hope and prayer is that a vegan world become a reality that will bring peace and healing for all who live on the planet.
