Victory for the animals! Today the world famous fashion brand, Dolce & Gabbana, committed to going fur-free. Dolce & Gabbana announced it will no longer use animal fur in any of its collections starting in 2022 and will be working with furriers to transition to faux fur in response to changing customer tastes.

“Each year, millions of animals are raised in horrific conditions and brutally killed for clothing and accessories,” said Chris DeRose, Founder and President of LCA. “The destruction of countless animals is not only cruel, but unnecessary. We welcome the news that another high-end brand has committed to a more compassionate fashion industry.”

The announcement came after intense pressure from activists and discussions with member organizations of the Fur Free Alliance, which LCA is a member. While this is a victory for the animals, LCA will not stop fighting until all retailers stop selling fur and fur is banned globally.

Dolce & Gabbana's announcement demonstrates how dedicated activists, like you, can make a difference in the lives of animals.
