Mad cow disease update
The following articles expose some of the consequences of exploiting animals, with no regard for them as God’s creatures. I believe humans can bring about misery through their moral failure.
Mad cow disease update: The human variant of mad cow disease has taken its second victim in Amsterdam, last month (06/06). According to The Dutch Institute for Health and Environment (RIVM) the person most probably got infected by eating contaminated meat products.
Creutzfeldt-Jakob (vCJD) disease -- the human form of bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE) is fatal and incurable. It is thought to be caused by eating food contaminated with material from cattle with BSE, a progressive neurological disorder.
