Cancerous river
There’s abundant evidence that intensive animal agriculture is one
the top environmental pollutants in the world. We hear about towns in
which their inhabitants get sick from having a factory farm nearby
because the air, water and soil get contaminated.

creation, and unless wake-up calls, like the following news, make us
turn things around, we will inevitably continue to observe the not so
slow decay of our planet, God’s creatures, and our souls.
China's longest river, Yangtze, is "cancerous" with pollution and
rapidly dying. The river, the third longest in the world after the Nile
and the Amazon, is so severely polluted that it's no longer safe for
drinking or even swimming, according to Xinhua news agency. The culprits
are industrial waste and sewage, agricultural pollution and shipping
discharges.
