Santiago’s Salsa Fresca

Preparation: 15 minutes – Servings: 2 ½ cups
Ingredients
4 small Roma tomatoes, chopped (2 C)
½ C Red onion, diced
2 Tbl Cilantro, minced
2 Tbl Lime juice, fresh squeezed
1 tsp Jalapeño, seeded & minced
½ tsp Garlic, minced
½ tsp Sea salt, or to taste
¼ tsp Black pepper, ground to taste
¼ tsp Chili powder
¼ tsp Cumin powder
Pinch Cayenne pepper
Preparation
Place all ingredients in a large mixing bowl and mix well.
Serving Suggestions:

for bruschetta, fajitas, soft tacos and avo halves. Known by all
cultures, salsas form the basis for many of the great flavors you can
create with tomatoes and provide the instant dip for veggies, jicama and
