The misery of Thanksgiving turkeys
The tradition of the turkey dinner on Thanksgiving means only misery
to the millions of turkeys that endure unimaginable cruelty in poultry
farms. Ironically, TV ads show happy turkeys who might as well be
pleased to be on the dinner table.
It’s not surprise that the food industry tries to hide the truth and
in its place conveys the idea that turkeys are treated very well without
even giving a hint that all these animals will end up in a slaughtering
plant suffering till the end. The animal rights group, PETA, launched an
undercover investigation resulting in the documentation of the hellish
lives turkeys endure.

Thanksgiving is a time to give thanks for all the blessings God has
bestowed upon us, like the wide variety of plant-based foods that make
it unnecessary the killing of God’s animals for sustenance. A
plant-based diet honors God’s creation.
