Calf-Dumping in California
About three dozen dead dairy calves were found in eastern San Joaquin
County in January. Farm Sanctuary has offered a $2,000 reward for
information leading to the identification and arrest of the people who
dumped them. Russ Mead, general counsel for the group said, “... somebody
dumped these calves like somebody would dump an old couch in a ravine in the
middle of the night.”
It is appalling that these calves were considered mere commodities instead
of sentient beings created with love by God. Humanity will find no peace,
and Creation no healing as long as we continue to cause pain and suffering
to any creature.
