Britain’s Oldest Man is Vegetarian
Britain's oldest man, the Rev. Reg Dean, who has survived two world
wars and seen 24 British Prime Ministers come and go celebrated his
108th birthday. When asked what he thought was the cause of his good
health and longevity he mentioned good friends, religion, looking for
the best in people, and being a vegetarian for 30 years.

Vegetarians have lower rates of many diseases including cancer, heart
disease, diabetes and obesity, probably prolonging their lives. By
leaving healthier lives we can be more effective in our outreach to
actively participate in the reconciliation of God's Creation.
