Let's be honest, say the authors of this article, anger is a normal
emotion when we come to the realization that billions of animals are
being tortured for taste and profit, while we feel somewhat powerless to
stop this madness. Anger is a primal emotion that when it's channeled in
an effective way may work on our behalf. Of course it doesn't help to
lash out at people when they continue to eat animals even though they
might be aware of the atrocities inflicted on these animals. However,
Mariann Sullivan & Jasmin Singer who are, respectively, the Program
Director and Executive Director of Our Hen House
http://www.ourhenhouse.org/ give great advice
about dealing with anger in order to be as effective as possible in
educating people about the benefits of a plant-based diet. To read the

I think we can all learn something from this great article because at
one time or another we’ve felt the anger associated with
knowing/learning about the inherent cruelty of animal agriculture and
the devastating effects it has on God’s Creation. Especially, the anger
associated with the lack of empathy that surrounds us (seemingly in
spite of our efforts), might be the one hardest to deal with.
Nonetheless, it’s important to keep in mind that progress is being made
and that our lifestyle has great influence on others.
