Ingredients:
2 slices whole wheat bread
2
tablespoons red pepper hummus, divided
1 cucumber, for peels
black pepper, to taste
Preparation:
- Take the two
slices bread and set them right next to each other. With a butter
knife (sharp or spread knife is fine), take about 1 tablespoon
hummus and spread it on 1 slice of bread. Repeat for the other
slice.
- With your cucumber, take a vegetable peeler and peel off
about 20 1" thin slices. Place 10 slices of the cucumber diagonally
on each slice of bread.
- With a sharp knife, cut off all the
edges of the bread with the ends of the cucumber. This can, of
course, be eaten once cut off. After that, cut each bread
diagonally, and add a little bit of ground black pepper for some
spice to it, and voila!
