Abortion and Animals Rights: The Connection

Dear Yvonne,
I certainly do not agree with the killing of unborn humans, nor have I personally come across any animal rights activists who do.
I have to admit that I have often thought it highly inconsistent, however, that those campaigning against the killing of unborn human babies will happily and readily kill (eat) innocent non-human babies. (Chickens are barely 6 weeks old when slaughtered and pigs are six month old youngsters)
