I assume you are not pro choice? I see the same disconnect with many of the PETA crowd, how can a person be pro choice and yet be so passionate about not harming animals? It is a contradiction in terms to say the least.
As far as the fishing and the deer story goes, most of us hunters would never let an animal suffer or succumb to a sure drowning in a case such as this, and yet we will hunt animals and kill them under that circumstance. I do understand your confusion on the matter.
