Mari and Franc,
So, basically, the point is to live in this pseudo-eutopia you have described and hope the rest of the world, including the animals, will follow and become vegan? I'm not quite understanding that. You still didn't answer my question about Jesus eating fish. Was He full of the sin of the world? I mean other than when He was crucified.
I understand about Heaven, praying for His Kingdom to come, the afterlife, peace, mercy, forgiveness, redemption, all that. I want to get to the meat (no pun intended) of the issue. I wholeheartedly support your decision to live and eat the way you see fit; I'm not here to change that. I just am trying to visualize where your Biblical supporting facts are and how they compare to the life of Jesus, how He lived His life, and if that message is being lost in worrying about things like protein sources. I agree with not eating unclean meats. No scaleless fishes, no omnivorous animals, no shell-fish, bottom- dwellers, etc. That's because they are unclean and filled with toxins.
That's a personal choice and we feel like the "strange folks" on the block for sure living in a coastal gulf state. LOL The pastured poultry, grass-fed beef, wild fish, pastured eggs, raw dairy, etc. we eat are the best sources we can find for our healthy and growing family of 6. I'd love your input on the questions I have for you- straight answers. :)
