Our subjects cover: religion (Christian, Jewish and others); diet and lifestyle (vegan and vegetarian); and other miscellaneous subjects.
I am saddened by the fact that any one of the Catholic faith would devote their time to "blaspheme" Father Hummel of St. Francis regarding hunting. My first question in all of this is what are the teachings of the church regarding animals? Do animals have souls?
Second point that I would like to make....... Everyday their are 1000's of children aborted in this country and we have a multitude of Catholics who either one choose to look the other way or two vote politicians into office that would support such acts. It concerns me that Joseph, a graduate student at Illinois State University, would devote his time to this and fail to recognize that there are much larger issue's that need to be confronted (i.e. abortion).
Lets focus on the real issue's facing us. You defend the lives of animals (which is understandable) but I find people are more concerned with an animals life than that of an unborn child.
In closing I would find it useful if you would allow people to post their thoughts regarding this on your website. Thus promoting a democratic viewpoint of this and not just your own.
Best Regards,
Scott
