Dear Brenna:

Thank you very much for your comments and the article links.

What you say sounds very logical, but we've been working on the compassion issue for more than 22 years, and have done extensive studying of what issues bring about the greatest change, and health amounts to only a very small percentage. Many other organizations have come to the same conclusion. The only thing that seems to bring about lasting change is the compassion issue. Until most people have had their emotions shocked by seeing the horror of what happens to the animals, they rarely change their lifestyle.

We have also encountered a lot of cruelty on so called family and free-range farms, and there really isn't any such thing as humane slaughter.

And on the health issue, free-range or not, there appears to be no difference in the effect of animal flesh and bodily secretions on chronic diseases. The only way to prevent them is to go on a healthful, unprocessed, plant food vegan diet.

Your comments in the one article about if a person cannot give up meat for of taste reasons to use soy products is the only step that can truly help a person's health, providing they also eat lots of fresh fruit and veggies.

Have you seen our Health section on our web site?

We look forward to your comments.

In the Love of the Lord,

Frank and Mary
