Accordingly, the Hebrew bible does make a distinction from the KJV on this term ("living soul"), per its application to animals and their spirit from God.
I guess the KJV translators felt it was necessary to translate so that man would take precedence, which I suppose was taken from the viewpoint of man's need for salvation through Christ;
I.e., animals certainly don't need redemption, since they cannot sin.

Do you guys also get involved with animal activism (I.e., animal rights ?).
The reason I ask is because of the issue I raised (Please see my prior e-mail) about the animal torture videos that are currently being broadcast all over the world on "You Tube".
