One of the nice things about most of the Old Testament recorded history is that we don’t have to reconcile it with the teaching of Jesus and the heavenly will of God, because these passages teach us about the worldly ways of the people at that time, and about the things we should not be doing.
Ahab was one of the ungodly kings of Israel that led his people astray (away from God) and promoted false gods (Baals).
The wanton killing of animals is one of the sure signs that his actions were not in the heavenly will of God.
Don’t allow the evil in the world to make you question the truth of what Jesus taught us.
