Dear Kathy:

You’re welcome and thank you for telling us about the problems in your family. You are not alone and many of us have the same or similar problems.

We are told in Revelation 21:4 that in the new heaven and earth that there will be no pain (suffering), mourning or death, which is exactly how Jesus taught us to live. In Matthew 5:48, He commands us to be perfect as our Father in heaven is perfect, and in Matthew 6:10 He teaches us to pray for our Fathers heavenly will to be done on earth as it is in heaven, which is exactly what you are doing and living.

Don’t let the people who follow the ungodly ways of this world discourage you. You are definitely on the correct path.

You might also want to read the beatitudes Matthew 5, and you will note that every one of these speaks against the cruelty and indifference to animals and to the people who care about them that you see upon this earth.
