Dear Josh:
The Bible grants a reluctant concession about eating animal flesh, so it’s not really a sin in itself, but what is a sin, is taking pleasure in the causing of the death of any living being, or causing that living being pain and suffering. In most cases, this would also make fur trapping a sin.
In addition, in order to take the life of any other living being, a person must first harden their heart and soul to no longer have empathy for desires of the being they intend to kill, and this is also against God’s will.
In the Love of the Lord,
Frank and Mary
